Rosalin at Redbubble

Rosalin’s bright, abstract artwork caught my eye when I was browsing Redbubble. Her gallery has something for everyone from rock bands and  travel to animals and flowers as well as purely abstract pieces! Here’s a little taster of some of what you will find…

“I’m Rosalin and I’m from Bulgaria.I’m attracted by abstract photography, processed images and the different look on art. My first great love and passion (after my family!)  is shooting. I prefer different pictures and vision. Now more than ever, I live with my new passion – digital art.”

“In things that I do I find the bright and sweet side of this world. I’m happy with the romantic feeling of my photos and the pure joy of my digital works. I would like to have the inspiration to create more and more. This is the most important thing for an artist.”

Cards for Cancer Patients

I’ve always been a fan of Corrie Kuipers artwork, you’ll have seen some of their fun and cute designs pop up from time to time here on the blog but I wanted to take the time to show you a more serious range that you might not know about… Cards for cancer patients, and cards for the friends and family of cancer patients.

The Only Courage That Matters card What Lies Behind Us card

Corrie say’s “I’ve lost family members to cancer, and so has my partner. Looking around, we saw very few greeting cards that seemed designed for sending to cancer patients. Further research suggested many people have difficulty staying in
touch with cancer patients because they’re afraid of saying the wrong thing, while many cancer patients feel isolated because of a lack of contact.”

For Pediatric Cancer Patient - Boy card You Can Do It! card

“We decided to begin our own line of cards just for cancer patients and later, added a seperate line of cards for friends and family of cancer patients, who also need support. Our cards are bright and colorful, modern in design; the messages are positive and encouraging, spreading hope and a smile to those who need it.”

Davina Nicholas Abstract Art

Davina is a British artist at Redbubble who’s abstract work caught my eye.

She say’s “Inspiration is everywhere and I love to create different colours and textures of the vibrant world. I have been working with different media and surfaces, including digital art, which can be very versatile. Abstracts are especially favorite, as they can bring the freedom of expression and fascination to a different level.”

So let’s take a look at some of her work…

Gills Art

Bright, bold seascape and landscape art by Gillian aka Gills Art at Redbubble.

She says “I try to capture the essence of Australia through my paintings. The rich red of the soil, the bluest of skies, the green of the ocean. I like my paintings to be bright, colourful and fun. The intention of my art is to add inspiration… to uplift and energize.”

I love how colorful Gill’s artwork is, it certainly uplifts me on a winters day far away in the UK!
