An ode to Greece and the Mediterranean today as I am heading back to the UK after spending most of the Winter on the Greek island of Crete. Debbie Preston is the artist behind the Etsy Store Lighthearted Dreamer. I featured one of Debbie’s floral watercolor prints a couple of weeks ago alongside other Etsy artists but wanted to go a little deeper and show you more of her Etsy store as alongside the pretty flowers she also paints the most beautiful birds and other animals.
Debbie says “I’ve always had a deep appreciation for animals and natural beauty. Painting lets me lose myself in the sunshine of life. It’s my attempt to reflect that sunshine of everyday joys that we sometimes overlook.”
