To start off our new “A Day in the Life” feature I thought I would start us off with a day from my own life – You may not know that as well as blogging here I’m also a photographer/designer with stores at Zazzle and Etsy, a part time (when I’m in the mood) article writer and general self-employed online money maker!
Currently I’m living at home in Crete, Greece with my Dad and our 5 kitties – I spend Dec-March in Greece each year and then return to the UK and my boyfriend for the summers…
Anyway… this was my Tuesday…
9.30 – I’m semi awake… My radio alarm goes off at 9.00 but I slept right through it today. I manage to rowse myself enough to drink coffee eat a cereal bar and read a chapter of my book. Mona (Mo) the kitten comes up for a cuddle… She’s a Mummy Girl and has to come up every morning for some love and attention – Her adopted brother remains somewhere downstairs…
10.00 – I’m up, dressed and downstairs, Laptop On, Ready to get going for the day… Everything I need/should do is written in my diary… First off I check my CPU blog stats then log into Shutterstock, a micro-stock site, to start uploading my Ribbon Candy photos. I then decide I might as well upload the candy photos to all of the stock photo sites I belong to…
10.50 — My assistant has joined me!! I need to go over my plan of what will be published on the CAB blog next week. I always write the posts out on a Thursday for the entire week and have been jotting down ideas but need to finalize details now and fill up any blank spots!
11.45 – I whizz through my emails and log into Project Wonderful to accept any pending ads and also login to Twitter for the first time today! After that’s done it’s time to “settle down” and finish the navigation images for my Zazzle Homepage. Here are the ones I made and uploaded yesterday…
12.30 — Ok well so much for settling down, lunch is ready! Soup that my Dad made is on the menu today… It’s totally full of veggies and is more of a meal than a snack but on a cold day it’s just what was needed 
12.45 – Back to the navigation image designing… It’s too wet n cold for the kittens to play outside today (and for me to venture outside!) so they are tearing round the room with a ball… I’m trying to ignore them but then get dragged into the game!
14.10 — Yay! I’ve finished the images Time to upload them and “make” them fit on my Zazzle store homepage side by side. On the kitten front its gone rather quiet… I check on them and find they are resting
15.15 — A short phone call from my man. (We do the long-distance / online relationship thing while I’m in Greece – Strangely it seems to work for us!)
I have a cup of tea and a snack of pringles, then head over to Etsy to reknew one of my prints, participate in the forum and teams and upload a new print and iphone case to my site at Society6.
I then head over to my feed reader page and catch up on all the blog happenings from bloggers I subscribe to. Next on my diary to do list is to do some Etsy SEO… (Oh, this is Van, short for Evangelina, all 5 cats are now inside and mostly clustered around the food bowl awaiting their turn!)
17.00 — I SEO’d 2 of my prints at etsy and checked previously SEO’d prints at etsy, still showing up on the first page . I had to take a photo of Lloyd who jumped on my chair when I was seeing to the other cats – Adult Lloyd on the chair – With the print of Lloyd as a kitten up on the laptop screen which I was SEO’ing.
17.20 – Dinner Time! A mini roast dinner of chicken, veg and roasties for me. It tasted better than it looks in the pic – We’re not reallly into “artistic presentation” of food in this house!
24.30 — Ending the day how I started the day… Reading in Bed. When I can’t keep my eyes open anymore it’ll be time to slip into pleasant dreams…. Night Night!
