We’re back in business! The new design is up and running… If you’re reading this in your feedreader you might want to head over to the site now to take a look!
We have a brand new banner design…
The posts navigation has moved to the top under the header and has been reworked with a drop down menu to make it easier to browse/find certain topics and posts…
The page links have moved to the sidebar… Hopefully making the pages easier for people to find…
I’ll be opening up sponsor ads on the sidebar in the next month or so but for the meantime we have the project wonderful ads, our existing sponsor and a selection of affiliates…
You might notice that the Google Friends Connect box has totally gone, that’s because Google closed it for non-blogger members on 1st March. 
If you haven’t already, please please please find an alternative feed reader (I use Google Reader) so you can subscribe to our feed and continue receiving updates.
That’s about it… Still a few tweeks going on with the sidebar!

I’m very excited by the cushions / throw pillows that Zazzle have introduced, along with napkins and placemats.
A little pricey, with a cushion starting at $50 but there’s good reason for that price – These throw pillows aren’t made in China… They are sewn in the U.S.A by sustainably employed single Moms and they are unique – You’re not going to find these designs down at your local supermarket!

I feel like I’m on repeat when I say this… but Zazzle have done it again (again, again, again!!) and introduced more new products to the marketplace. So let’s take a little look at what’s new…
Zazzle launched another 5 new products at the beginning of December which I didn’t get chance to blog about before the holidays (nor have I even thought about adding them to my store as I’m still going through the previous 9 new items!)
So what have they introduced this time??
Pet Bowls.
Candy / Coffee / Storage Jars.
Tea Pots.
Pitchers.
Mugs – Automatically Available in New Espresso Size and Bone China.
These items have been introduced as “quick launch” again so when you go to the “create” page they don’t show up, nor are there any guide size files etc but you can get through the back door and create these products and list them in your store via this page!
Hello! I hope you all had a great holiday and made it into the New Year safely!
I have been busy coming up with new ideas and making plans for the Creative Artists Blog to make it even better this year…
A blog re-design is most definitely on the cards – This was supposed to happen last year but I didn’t get around to completing it aka designing the new site! The new blog design will also open up the sidebar for sponsors… More about that at a later date!
In terms of blog posts we will continue to feature artists/photographers/designers from Etsy, Zazzle and Redbubble with shop features, product features and interviews…
I have plans to introduce a new type of post as well… This will be in the form of “A Day In The Life” so we can get a sneak peek into artists/photographers daily lives and see just how much creating goes into 1 day!
I also have plans to start featuring books that artists/photographers are self-publishing through Blurb.
And I just joined a new POD site (new to me that is!), Society6, so no doubt as I explore and find artists work that I love there we’ll see some shop features and interviews from the creative folk popping up over here.
I’m also thinking of starting a Facebook page for the blog… A place where you can link to your new work… see what everyone is upto and communicate together… It’ll also help me to find new work to feature here on the blog!
I am always looking for artists/photographers/designers to take part here so if one of your New Year’s Resolutions was to market yourself / your artwork more I invite you to get in touch, you can either do a shop feature or an interview.
